Jasmine Cohen is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist and Dance/Movement Psychotherapist. She works collaboratively with her clients to help support their emotional and mental well-being through an integration of the mind and body. She is trauma focused, intersectionality minded, and psychodynamically oriented.
Jasmine is deeply committed to addressing mental health stressors related to oppression, family dynamics, trauma, and identity.
She strives to practice cultural humility and maintain an QTGNC affirming and body positive space. With a focus on the inherent strengths within each individual, locating self-empowerment through the somatic and creative experience.
Through empathetic and compassionate care Jasmine supports each individual's journey towards feeling more at home within their body, mind, and community.
Jasmine has worked in a variety of settings including adult inpatient psychiatry, outpatient community mental health, private practice, and in a domestic violence shelter.
